Kemisk karaktärisering av växtbiostimulant22 november, 2021
Arevo has received Vinnova funding for the chemical characterization of environmental friendly plant biostimulants, used for better plant establishment and improving nitrogen use efficiency.
Together with Arevo’s project partner Dr. Nils Skoglund, Umeå University, an expert in X-ray analytical techniques, synchrotron-based X-ray absorption spectroscopy will be applied in order to resolve the chemical composition of environmental-friendly biostimulants.
The Balder beamline at the Max IV Laboratory in Lund was identified as ideal partner for the performance of this analysis. Insights gained within this project will support the development of a wider product portfolio of plant biostimulants containing custom-tailored properties.
Vinnova’s motivation to fund Arevo’s application highlights the great relevance of the project. A successful outcome was judged to have strong economic and environmental potential and added societal value.
